How to Upload a Thumbnail Image For Video Lessons

Overview

Thumbnails help your lessons stand out and give members a visual preview of the content before they click to watch. In MemberUp, you can easily upload a custom thumbnail image to any video lesson.



Steps to Upload a Thumbnail

  1. Log in to your MemberUp account using your admin or owner email address.

  2. From the left-hand menu, click Courses.

  3. Open the course you’d like to edit.

  4. You’ll be taken to the Lesson Editor view.

  5. Select the lesson where you want to add or update the thumbnail.

  6. Click on Video and first upload the video.

  7. Once uploaded, click on Customize Media below the video and select Add Thumbnail.

  8. Choose your image file (recommended size: 1392 px × 752 px) and upload.

  9. Wait for the upload to finish, then click Save on the top right.

  10. Once saved, your thumbnail will automatically appear across the lesson and member view.

Try refreshing the page or clearing your cache. Ensure you clicked Save after uploading.
