How to Embed Videos in a Lesson

Learn how to embed videos into your MemberUp lessons. Add YouTube, Loom, Vimeo, or Wistia videos by simply pasting a supported video URL into your lesson content.

Overview

Embedding videos into your lessons helps create a more engaging learning experience for your members. MemberUp supports video embedding from popular platforms including YouTube, Loom, Vimeo, and Wistia.

Once added, videos can be viewed directly within the lesson without requiring members to leave the platform.



Step-by-step Instructions

1. Open Your Course

Navigate to Courses from your MemberUp dashboard​

2. Select the Lesson

Open the course containing the lesson where you would like to add a video.

3. Select the Video Block

Within the lesson editor, click Video from the available content block options.

4. Select Link Video

Choose Link Video to embed a video hosted on a supported platform.


5. Paste Your Video URL

Copy and paste the URL of your video from one of the supported providers:

  • YouTube

  • Loom

  • Vimeo

  • Wistia

and click Add Video.

6. Save Your Changes

Once the video has been added, save or update the lesson to publish your changes.

Your video will now appear directly within the lesson for members to view.

My video is not displaying

Verify that you have pasted a valid URL from a supported platform such as YouTube, Loom, Vimeo, or Wistia.
