Overview

Checkout links in MemberUp allow you to share direct payment links for your community’s plans and subscriptions.

You can share these links with potential members via email, social media, or any other means. When someone clicks a link, they’ll be directed to a page where they can join at the specific price you selected, and complete their purchase.

Checkout links are ideal for creating custom payment experiences, offering discounts, or guiding new members directly to the right plan.

Step-by-step Instructions

  1. Login as a community owner or admin.

  2. Access Pricing Settings

    • From your MemberUp community home page, click Settings.

  3. Open the Pricing Section

    • In the Settings menu, select Pricing to view all available pricing options already set or set a new one.

  4. Select Your Desired checkout link

    • Locate the pricing option you’d like to create a checkout link for.

  5. Copy the Checkout Link

    • Click the Copy URL link on the right of the price of your choosing.

    • This will automatically copy the checkout link to your clipboard.

      • Once the Copy URL link is clicked, You will see a message at the bottom right showing the confirmation that says URL Copied to clipboard.

  6. Share the Link

    • Paste the copied link wherever you’d like — in an email, a private message, or on your sales page.

    • Members who click the link will be redirected to your community’s secure checkout page.

Pro Tips

  • Checkout links can be used for both free and paid membership plans.

  • Always test the link in an incognito browser to confirm it leads to the correct checkout page.

  • Customize your checkout experience by pairing the link with specific pricing tiers or promotional offers.

  • If you update your pricing plan, generate a new link to ensure it reflects the latest settings.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

My checkout link isn’t copying when I click the Settings button.

Ensure your browser allows clipboard access. If it still doesn’t copy, try refreshing the page or using a different browser.

The checkout link leads to the wrong plan.

Double-check that you selected the correct pricing plan before clicking the Settings button. Each plan generates a unique link.

Can I use checkout links for one-time payments?

Yes. Checkout links work for both one-time purchases and recurring subscriptions, depending on your pricing setup.

Do I need to regenerate checkout links after updating pricing?

Yes. If you modify plan details (such as price, duration, or description), you must copy a new checkout link to ensure it reflects the latest configuration.
