Keeping your community safe and constructive is essential. MemberUp provides easy tools for admins to report, review, and moderate posts that violate guidelines or disrupt discussions. This ensures your community remains positive and aligned with your values.
How to Report a Post
Locate the Post
Find the post you’d like to report in your community feed.Click the Options Menu
Select the three-dot menu (…) in the top-right corner of the post.Select “Report”
A confirmation message will appear saying:
“Successfully reported to community admins.”
Once reported, the post is flagged for review and automatically sent to community admins and owners.
Tip: Reporting is anonymous — the post author will not be notified of who submitted the report.
How to Moderate Posts
Access the Moderation Panel
Log in as an Admin or Owner.
Go to Settings → Moderation from your main community dashboard.
Review Reported Content
Reported posts and comments appear here with timestamps, post details
Click on each report to view the full post or comment before taking action.
Take Action
Depending on your review, choose to:Approve the Post — Keep it visible.
Reject or Remove the Post — Hide it from all members.
Document Your Decision — Add brief internal notes for future reference.
Keeping records of moderation actions ensures transparency and consistency across admins.

Be Consistent: Apply community guidelines equally to all members.
Communicate Clearly: When removing posts or warning members, explain the reason politely.

Make sure you are logged in to your MemberUp account.
Only posts within your community feed can be reported.
Check if the three-dot menu (…) appears in the top-right corner of the post. If it doesn’t, refresh your feed or try logging out and back in.

Yes. The post author will not know who reported their content.
Can I undo a removed post?
Can I undo a removed post?
No. Once a post is removed, it cannot be automatically restored. Save internal notes if you need to document actions.
