If you no longer wish to continue using MemberUp, you can cancel your subscription at any time directly through MemberUp.
Cancelling your subscription will stop future renewals while allowing you to continue using your community until the end of your current billing period.
Before You Begin
Before cancelling your subscription, please note:
Cancelling your subscription does not immediately deactivate your community unless you're past the due date.
Your community will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
Once your subscription expires, your community will become archived.
Your members will continue to have access until your subscription expires.
If you wish to keep your community active, do not cancel your subscription.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open Your Community Settings
Log in to your MemberUp Admin account.
From the left-hand menu, click Community.
Click Settings on the right-hand side of your community.
Step 2: Open Billing
In the Settings menu, select Billing.
Click Manage subscription.
Step 3: Cancel Your Subscription
On the Manage Subscription page:
Click Cancel subscription
Step 3: Confirm Your Cancellation
Before your subscription is cancelled:
Enter a reason for cancelling your subscription.
Click Cancel subscription to confirm.
Note: Providing a cancellation reason helps us improve MemberUp.
Step 4: Cancellation Complete
Once your cancellation is successful, you'll see a confirmation message.
The confirmation page lets you know that:
Your subscription has been cancelled.
Your community will be archived at the end of your current billing cycle.
Nobody will be able to discover, join, like, post, comment, or chat in your community after it has been archived.
If you'd like to reactivate your community, you can contact MemberUp Support.
Pro Tips
Your subscription remains active until the end of your billing cycle, so you won't lose access immediately after cancelling.
If you change your mind and want to reactivate your MemberUp subscription, contact us by clicking on the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner or by emailing us at [email protected].
If you no longer need your community, you can also choose Fully delete your community from the cancellation confirmation page.

Yes. After cancelling your subscription, you'll have the option to Fully delete your community from the confirmation page.

MemberUp offers a 14-day free trial, giving you the opportunity to fully explore the platform before you're charged.
Once your 14-day trial has ended and your subscription has started, we do not offer refunds for subscription charges. If you no longer wish to continue using MemberUp, you can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewals.
